La Bandera is located in the Tarrazu Valley where one can find some of the finest coffees of the country. The climate and the volcanic soil offer perfect growing conditions. This coffee has a wonderful texture with a mouthcoating finish. Tastes of cashew, milk chocolate, fruity mandarin and wild honey are predominant.
Before taking over the farming from his father, Diego spent two years in the US to save up money to invest in a Micro Mill on site. With 20 hectares of red and yellow Catuai he is running a very focused and quality driven operation.
