Chief Operations Officer
Andreas is running all our retail operations, human resources and accounting. He is also the founder of Splendid Delikatessen, one of the best fresh food lunch places in Berlin. Before working in hospitality, Andreas worked for MTV, Sony Music, Pixel Park and Messe Berlin.
Felix is running our German wholesale activities and events. During his studies in Berlin he worked in hospitality. "Working with premium chefs it always surprised me how little attention was paid to coffee after a great meal. My goal is to change this."

Josef joined THE BARN in November 2017. He previously worked within London and Melbourne’s demanding coffee industries. Now he shares his experiences as a tutor and barista. "It’s amazing to be able to pass on my experience to others who share an interest and love for great coffee."
Paulina has been working in hospitality for 12 years before moving to Berlin. She recently travelled to Brazil on her first origin trip. Paulina also runs our public cuppings and lectures at coffee events. She joined us in 2016. "The roastery is, in my opinion, the best spot for coffee in town."

Pawel was born in Poland and worked in Edinburgh before moving to Berlin. He joined us in 2012. "I find it exciting to be close to our customers and staff to create a unique customer experience. Coffee connects people and I want to make sure it happens in a great environment."
Chief Executive Officer
Influenced by his life in Japan and the UK, Ralf founded THE BARN in 2010. He pioneered high-quality coffee in an uncompromising way in Germany. By focusing on the product and sharing knowledge he quickly established THE BARN´s strong street credibility.
Yuko is our champion barista! She won the New York Coffee Masters‘ Championship in 2016. Before joining THE BARN in July 2017, she worked in Canada and the United Kingdom. “I love coffee not only the flavours it brings but the connection it makes."
