Our naturally processed lots from Huye Mountain are a delicious showcase of terroir and process. Expect blueberry, strawberry, and juicy cherry up front. Brown sugar and vanilla offer sweet base notes, with a long finish bringing hints of dark chocolate. Juicy and expressive served black, as a flat white, this is like a strawberry milkshake.

Here's an easy, no-fuss Switch recipe for that works really well for me with this coffee:

15g coffee
230g water @ 94C
Comandante MK3 @ 23 clicks (assuming burr lock at 0)
Standard Hario paper

1. Switch closed, 50g bloom, 30 seconds
2. Top up to 230g
3. Gentle swirl
4. Steep to 2:30
5. Open Switch and drain

Target time: 3:00 - 3:20

The coffee comes with the flavours written on the bag. I pulled 2.8:1 in 35sek. I think the longer brew time does it good if you have a good grinder.

Nice coffee

Nice coffee. I recommend going with lower temperatures to promote the fruitiness. With higher temperature, it reminded me of oat-milk, wespecislly in cappuccinos, which I do not like personally./

Dieser Kaffee schmeckt sehr fruchtig und süß mit einem Hebelprofil.
Bei konstantem Druck bis zum Schluss wird er schnell bitter.

Ich schätze den Rwanda Huye Mountain sehr. Ein großartiger Kaffee mit einem wunderbar facettenreichen Geschmack. Er ist leider hier in Deutschland nicht leicht zu bekommen. Von daher großes Dankeschön an The Barn, dass ihr diesen Kaffee immer mal wieder im Angebot habt.
