We are huge fans of the Scorpions. This is their very own coffee - chosen by the band, roasted by us in Berlin. As a true fan, you want to enjoy the same coffee as the band. Hear it from our founder, Ralf.

Brazil is the world largest coffee producer. A new generation of farmers made it their mission to change the perception of coffee in their country: They put in hard work to produce some of the best coffees in the country. In a sustainable way. 

We stand for change. And we believe that quality and passion are the key drivers for it. Our farm relationships are personal. As a result, we not only receive a fantastic product: We also support changing the circumstances of coffee farming by paying a higher price for it.

Touring Brazil in 2023, it was only natural that The Scorpions chose a Brazilian Coffee for "Rock Believer". Boa Vista - or beautiful view - is a verdant valley in the Mogiana region of Sao Paulo. The farmers in the Boa Vista community have long focused on harvesting smaller lots of coffee with unique flavours. Working alongside Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza, the community shares information in order to innovate, evolve, and protect the land they depend on.

Every day we try to change the way people think about coffee: like in music, it is something you have to believe in.

The Scorpions wrote themselves into history with their song Wind of Change. It captured the spirit when the Berlin wall fell: the instant our amazing home was united. Today, we are roasting the bands very first coffee!

On the road or in the studio, the Scorpions love a brew. This Brazilian coffee ticks all the boxes. A rich espresso to start the day or a balanced filter, our Omni Roast Style makes it perfect for both. Enjoy: the limited edition bag is one to frame for all fans!

The Cup

Boa Vista is sweet, rich, and balanced. The profile has body and depth that pairs perfectly with milk. In the cup, expect notes of chocolate, nut, caramel, and fudge.

About The Farm

Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) are processing some of the best coffees in Brazil and lead the way in sustainable farming. The Bob-o-Link project is the result of a group of farmers in the FAF network, located in some of the best regions for coffee in Brazil. Bringing together neighbouring farms that share - and care - for their water source, expertise, and knowledge.

Farms in this region originally belonged to one family and plots have been subsequently divided through the new generations. In Boa Vista we have the Jacon, Zani, Dos Santos, and Ferreira families, who have been farming in the area for four generations.

Today, after many years of partnership with FAF, they not only produce superb coffee, but together have introduced post-harvest best practices that help reduce their impact on the environment.

The Process

Our Boa Vista lot was naturally (dry) processed, taking advantage of the consistent climate in this part of Brazil. The farmers also want to use less fresh water in the process (environmental friendly). Once picked and sorted, the ripe cherries are dried slowly in the sun, allowing the coffee beans to absorb flavour from the surrounding fruit.
