This Typica offers a refined take on Brazilian specialty coffee, balancing ripe plum and sweet cherry with soft notes of vanilla. Gentle acidity keeps the profile vibrant, while a long finish of chocolate and caramel adds richness and depth. Sweet, elegant, and beautifully balanced, it is a coffee that rewards slow brewing.
Sitio Seriema is owned by Ivan and Rose dos Santos, who have worked alongside Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) since 2008 to transform both their farm and the surrounding region through sustainable, quality-focused coffee production. Named after the native Brazilian Roadrunner, the farm has become a model for responsible farming, inspiring neighbouring producers to adopt better agricultural practices. Our relationship with Ivan and Rose began in 2014 and has grown into a close partnership, including investments in improved water treatment systems that clean all processing water before it returns to the environment. Together with FAF, these initiatives are helping shape a more sustainable future for Brazilian coffee.

Only ripe cherries are hand-picked before being naturally processed on the farm. The whole fruit is dried slowly on raised African beds, allowing the warm climate to develop the characteristic sweetness and depth. During the busiest part of the harvest, some cherries are dried at Ivans brothers neighbouring farm, ensuring every lot receives the same careful attention. This slow natural process enhances the coffees rich caramel sweetness while preserving the elegant fruit character that makes this Typica so distinctive.
