As we grow, we are looking for a Customer Retention Specialist to elevate the journey of our customers – especially those engaging with us through our webshop and subscription program. This role plays a key part in ensuring every interaction feels personal, rewarding, and aligned with the values of THE BARN.

Unboxing Experience: Design delightful unboxing moments that communicate our story, values, and passion for high-quality coffee. Customer Communication: Develop meaningful touchpoints across email, social media, and post-purchase follow-ups to nurture customers and enhance their loyalty. Brand Storytelling: Help customers understand the essence of THE BARN from sustainable sourcing and terroir to the meticulous processes that shape the clarity and uniqueness of our cup profiles. Customer Feedback & Insights: Actively engage with customer feedback to improve the webshop experience and turn insights into actionable strategies.
Experience in customer experience, customer retention, or a related field (e-commerce/webshop experience is a big plus). Passion for Specialty Coffee: You have an understanding (or a willingness to learn) about terroir, processing methods, and what makes THE BARN’s coffees special. Creative mindset: You care about the details – from curating a perfect unboxing experience to crafting communications that feel personal and on- brand. Customer-Centric Approach: A strong desire to make every customer feel seen and valued, with a passion for building relationships and nurturing loyalty. Analytical & Insight-Driven: Comfortable using data to identify trends, behaviors, and strategies that drive customer retention and satisfaction. Fluent in English, with good knowledge of German a plus.
