Nyeri is known as one of the best coffee growing regions in Kenya. For years, the Cooperatives on the Southern slopes of Mount Kenya have been working on cup qualities and clean processing methods. Gathaithi AA was one of the best coffees we have tasted this season. Flavours of blackcurrant with a beautiful citrus finish, immense sweetness and clarity, a refreshing hibiscus acidity and the sirupy mouthfeel make this a very special coffee.
Due to global weather conditions the harvest output in Kenya has been significantly lower than last season. Qualities are very high, however, the auction system and high demand create higher prices levels than previously. We are proud to share with you an exceptional coffee experience with Gathaithi AA.
