Regulo Ureña manages his farm with sustainable practices for nearly 30 years: all water sources are protected and waste is used as organic fertilizer. The plantation is surrounded by pristine forest. El Guayabal is super sweet and bold. Flavours of dark cherry, and forest honey are predominant.

This coffee is black honey processed: All mucilage is left on the beans after depulping. Parchment is glued together like honey due to the sugars created from the mucilage. Beans have to be moved and broken apart over 10 days. The result is a concentration of the natural sugars which leads to a rich body and loads of flavours.
