THE BARN ROASTERY

The Annex Café is attached to our new Roastery. Located in the historic area of Brunnenviertel with its landmark building that was once Headquarter to AEG (Allgemeine Electricitäts-Gesellschaft 1883). The beautiful red-brick construction is oozing character and the area is now home to Technische Universität Berlin, Deutsche Welle, LaLa Berlin and many Start-Ups.

Going back to our roots, we have designed a cute space with lots of warming raw cedar woods. Our specialty, handbrewed single origin coffees, will get special attention on a separate brew bar. On the middle bar, we set up a La Marzocco PB-X espresso machine with integrated scales to weigh out every shot. We are serving two espressos and a rare low-caffeine varietal for those more sensitive to coffee. We offer pasteurised biodynamic Brodowin Milk, or Oatly as plant-based alternative. Teas are supplied by our local partners, Paper & Tea. Cakes, cookies and fresh sandwiches are homemade in our baking space next to the café.

The Annex will have a great view axis to the Roastery and it turns into a Training Center in the late afternoons to run workshops for our staff and customers. We are much looking forward to welcome you at Voltastraße!
