This is an exciting opportunity to learn the technical aspects of coffee production by roasting a batch of your own coffee.

You will gain all-round knowledge of the workings of a coffee roaster, and how to use it to bring out the best flavours from each and every bean. We will begin by teaching you how to evaluate green beans, what we mean when we say “roast profile”, and why attention to detail is key.
Once we have covered the theoretical side, and answered any questions, we will start roasting using our Probat sample roasters. In the end we will cup and discuss to evaluate the results.
