The Specialty Coffee Association's (SCA) Education programs were created to help you develop your passion and sharpen your skills. Taught by our Josef, an Authorised SCA Trainer, the programs offer high-quality coffee education for every stage of your professional career.

Introduction to Coffee is ideal for anyone who is new to the coffee industry, or anyone curious to learn more about this wonderful beverage.
We will chart the journey of coffee from its origins in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today. This course also looks at the processes coffee goes to from crop to cup - farming the cherries through to drying, roasting, brewing, and finally drinking.
The half day course also includes a “coffee cupping” which will sharpen your senses so you can taste the extensive flavour profiles coffee has to offer.
The course includes SCA's Introduction to Coffee certification exam in the form of a written test at the end of the class. On passing this test you will receive an internationally-recognised certification.
