Rwanda is the land of 1000 hills, blessed with ideal growing conditions for coffee: High altitude, regular rainfall, and rich soil. This honey processed lot was produced with great attention to detail. The cup profile - wild honey, pomelo, pomegranate and a hint of orange.
Our honey lot was grown in two of the seven zones along Huye´s Mountain range: Gako and Gishamvu. The producer, David Rubanzangabo, has become a role model for specialty coffee in Rwanda. He continues pushing to improve quality, techniques, and processing - the results of which can be seen in each of his coffees that we enjoy so much.
