We are closing down our café operations momentarily to help slowing down the corona virus.
With a heavy heart we will start closing down our café operations over the next couple of days. We know that this is the right thing to do in order to slow down the spread of the corona virus. We are immensely proud of our entire crew in the way they are handling the situation. At the same time, it is heartbreaking to us to send a lot of our staff home to live on much less than what they would make if we could continue our café operations. It is in times of crisis when our communities are strong and when we support each other. There are a few things that you can do:
- Order beans & equipment from our webshop
- Sign up for our coffee subscription service
- Buy vouchers to enjoy coffees in our cafés after the crisis
- Donate to our virtual tip-jar to support your favourite baristas
If we all follow the guidance of the government and keep social distance for a while, we can soon look back onto these times of trouble, and enjoy our communities again. We are staying close to new developments and remain positive and hopeful as we navigate through this difficult period.
Help Your Barista - Virtual Tip Jar
We started a campaign to support our baristas. Being a small enterprise, we do not have the financial means to keep all our staff when our revenues are falling massively. It is heartbreaking to us to send our staff home to live on much less than: They only have 60% coverage by the government and they have no tips from you.
The money we are collecting goes directly to our café staff. They are 60 fantastic individuals and our goal with the campaign is to cover some of the cuts and tip-losses they will have over the next weeks. Please support your baristas and café crews.
