Vacuum Packing


Vacuum packing (or vacuum sealing) is the best possible, and most expensive quality preservation method for green coffee. Usually packed in smaller boxes of 10-20kg, vacuum packing is quickly becoming the standard for high-end Cup of Excellence level coffees.

Once the coffee is well rested and water activity has stabilised, a device removes all air from inside the packing bag, preserving flavour. The process creates a solid brick of coffee beans that will be protected from any possible infection caused by the outside environment.
